The concept started with the local obsession for craft beer and a love of well made jerky. Marinating the jerky in beer adds a unique and more complex flavor to the meat. While you may not be able to pinpoint the exact beer used, you definitely can taste the difference between say a stout and an IPA. It’s a great snack paired with beer or on it’s own. The delicious beer jerky lead us to try marinating in coffee which has a very distinct flavor and is a nice pick-me-up of protein and caffeine. Great for taking out on the trail or for a snack any time.
